Many clients recognise that my name comes from a Jane Austen novel, but are a little confused. Surely Fanny Price is a demure, shy young lady, quite unsuitable for paid companionship?
Fanny however has hidden depths, and a side to her which shocks those who think they know her well. She refuses to marry for money (her own "fanny price") and stands up to all around her.
On the surface I may appear to be the respectable, attractive, educated woman who you might fantasise about, but never dream of being alone and naked with... what lies underneath though?
So, perhaps as well as being quite a silly pun, and where would we be without silliness, perhaps Fanny Price is not such an odd choice of name after all.
